Andrew Allen is the first Goaltending Coach in franchise history with the Seattle Kraken. Allen started his coaching career in 2006 coaching Japan on an international stage before joining St. Lawrence University in 2008 for three seasons. Allen made the move to the AHL in 2011, spending four seasons with the Rockford Icehogs before joining the Sabres in 2015 for another four seasons. Before being named Goaltending Coach, Allen spent the previous season as a pro scout for the Kraken, preparing for the team for their expansion draft. Prior to coaching Allen played 142 games in the ECHL, winning a Kelly Cup Championship in 2005 with the Trenton Titans.
